Felix Chevalier


Felix Chevalier is a Managing Partner of CHEVALIER HELMS, PLLC. The law firm’s practice areas include general counsel services, including transactional matters, and lobbying services. Felix is licensed to practice law in Texas, New Jersey and New York.

Felix received his Juris Doctorate from St. John University School of Law. He attended the State University of New York at New Paltz where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts. Felix also completed an Executive Education Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

In 2000 Felix joined BASHEN Corp. as a Consultant, where he advised Fortune 500 clients. Soon after, Felix joined The Wilmington Institute, as a Trial Analyst.

Felix later became an associate attorney with the law firm of Greer, Herz & Adams, L.L.P., where he served as regional counsel for a large corporate client. He managed outside counsel and over 900 cases.

Felix founded CHEVALIER HELMS, PLLC, serving as general corporate counsel or lobbyist for emerging enterprises and Fortune 500 companies. Some of his clients include AT&T, ARAMARK, City of Houston, Houston Arts Alliance, Neutex Advanced Energy Group, Inc., USG and Southwest Airlines.

Felix is a member of the Houston Bar Association and National Bar Association. He served as Co-Chair of the National Bar Association 83rd Annual Convention held in Houston.

Felix is the co-founder of Steaks & Stogies, a quarterly “off the record” dinner with corporate executives, business owners and political leaders. Felix is also the Chairman of Key PAC, a non partisan political action committee, which has endorsed and financially contributed to city, state and federal elected officials nationally.

Felix is a graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future Business/Civic Leadership Forum. Additionally, was appointed by Mayor Bill White to the City of Houston Contract Compliance Commission. Felix also served on Houston Mayor Annise Parker’s Transition Team and chaired the Subcommittees on Hire Houston First and Contracts, Policies & Procedures.

Felix is married with two children. He is also fluent in Spanish. Felix enjoys golf, skiing, reading and spending time with family and friends.
